What a difference 6 months makes.
T-Mobile announced today, under the hashtag #NewTMobile several things -
They did all this with a livestream featuring John Legere.
T-Mobile is pushing a narrative about this being for the greater good, in order to sooth the 5 of us who were concerned about the (approved by the FCC) merger between T-Mobile and Sprint.
There are services they mention that lean toward that -
So, how does 5G work?
Remember - in April, Verizon tested their 5G in Chicago - to 'Needs improvement' results. With the combo of Sprint + T-Mobile coverage, and the fact that this is coming out 8 months later, it should work better.
The new pricing - T-Mobile Connect - is as follows:
I've yet to find word about migrating plans from older users, or military discounts.
There were a few Questions answered and asked during the even that were so heavy on the PR statements, I just took the tech bits out and posted it in the appropriate sections above.
They also mentioned the plethora of jobs this would create - Remember my name when the time comes.

- Free Internet for low-income families affected by the Homework Gap - When students can't do online homework because they simply have no internet service. (And that's why municipal broadband needs to be a thing nationwide)
